Composition Essence is a traditional warming and soothing remedy formulated in 1860 in Edinburgh comprising extracts of a wide variety of beneficial herbs and spices. A remedy to be sipped, gargled and swallowed. Ideally used at the first onset of symptoms of colds or flues. Active Ingredients: Cajeput, Cassia, Chilli, Cinnamon, Clove Buds, Eucalyptus, Ginger, Lobelia, Myrtle, Peppermint, Witch Hazel
